WimziPal for Parents
Deciding what's okay for your kid and AI is genuinely hard — the space is new and most advice is either hype or fear. These are honest, practical guides written by the person who built WimziPal, an aunt who wanted something better for her nephews than the endless scroll.
A note from the person who built this
I'm not a big company — I'm one person, the "cool aunt." I watched my nephews disappear into an endless scroll of brain-rot videos, and everything I found that promised to be "AI for kids" was either an open chatbot that would talk about anything, or an ad machine quietly harvesting data. So I built the thing I wished existed: a buddy that's fenced in on purpose, keeps parents in control, and never pretends to be something it isn't.
Every safety decision in WimziPal is one I made thinking about my own family. If anything here isn't clear, email me directly — a real human reads it: support@wimzipal.com.

Our promises, in plain English
No legalese. Here's exactly how WimziPal treats your child and your family's data.
We never sell your data
No ad networks, no data brokers, no third-party tracking. Ever.
We never store voice or photos
Your child's speech and any "show your buddy" photo are processed in real time and discarded immediately.
We never show ads
Nothing is trying to sell your child anything, and there are no streaks or FOMO mechanics pulling them back.
Every message is checked — both ways
What your child says and what the buddy replies are both screened by safety filters on our servers, so it can't be switched off from the device.
No open internet, no strangers
Your child talks only to a fixed character buddy — there is no web browsing, no links, and no contact with other people of any kind.
You read every word
A full, parent-visible transcript of everything your child heard and said — nothing hidden.
You stay in control
A parental PIN gate protects every setting, and you set the daily time limit. When it's reached, the app simply stops.
Built to be COPPA-compliant
Only a parent email and the child's first name are needed to sign up, and everything is deleted instantly if you delete your account.
You see every conversation
The most important safety feature isn't a filter — it's you. From the parent area, you can open the full history of every chat your child has had: every question they asked and every word the buddy said back. There's no black box.
And if your child ever says something that needs a grown-up — sadness, fear, or anything concerning — the buddy gently steers them to "talk to a trusted grown-up," and you're notified so you can be there for them.

How WimziPal keeps your child safe
The short version: WimziPal is a bounded, parent-supervised AI companion — not an open chatbot. There's no open internet and no contact with strangers, every message is moderated on the server both ways, voice and photos are never stored, there are no ads and nothing is sold, and you can read every word your child heard. For the full detail, see our child safety & age-suitability page, our AI safety report (how we red-team the buddy), and our privacy policy.
